Case Study: Three Years, Thousands of Pins & One Very Happy Client

This month marks three whole years of working with one of my longest-standing (and loveliest) clients — and what a journey it’s been.

We first met on a Mastermind course. Picture this: a casual chat on the stairs on the way to lunch, and before dessert was even served, we were already swapping social media woes and wins. She’s a brilliant wedding and event planner with a treasure trove of gorgeous content — but no clear strategy to get it in front of the right people.

Where it all began

After the Mastermind wrapped, we had a consultation and decided to team up. From there, we kicked off a rhythm: every three months, we’d meet to plan her social content for the quarter ahead. I’d answer her burning questions, decode algorithm shifts, and keep her messaging on point.

Then I introduced Virtual Assistant (VA) services to my offering — and she was first in line. Since then, she’s had 10 hours of my time every single month, dedicated entirely to her business.

What that looks like today

Pinterest growth: From zero to 10,000 monthly views — consistently.

Strategy that sticks: Every post, blog, and pin aligns with her ideal client, brand voice, and business goals.

Regular blogging: Once a month (soon to be twice!) — showing off her expertise and boosting her SEO.

Social content creation: Captions? Written. Graphics? Designed in Canva.

Admin support during wedding season: So she can focus on doing what she does best — planning unforgettable events.

We still have a monthly check-in to talk things through and a quarterly strategy session to zoom out and look at the bigger picture.

What makes it work

Honestly? It’s just easy. We’ve got strong boundaries in place (she’s the kind of client who sends “Don’t read this, you’re on holiday!” emails), clear communication, and lots of mutual respect. She’s seen the highs and lows of my business, and I’ve supported her through hers.

Here’s to the next three years 🥂

If you’re dreaming of this kind of support in your business — let’s chat.
